Me Without You
isn't it funny? i sit down to write this and i draw a blank.
but i send out e-mails all day to my penpals...no problems there...and i will tell you my favourite story - some of you have heard before - because it's 'round and round' by ratt on repeat by me.
but the story goes like this: kurt vonnegut wrote all of his stories to his dead sister alice. he kept her in mind when he did all of his writing.
i write all of my writing to someone.
when i kept a blog for a couple of months a couple of years ago - i ended up posting alot of my correspondence. it was easier that way.
i read about tracey emin the other day. She committed 'emotional suicide' (she burned and destroyed all of her art and relationships) and declared herself a 'failed artist'...then she set up some kind of fund - asked about 80 people to subscribe to her...there was 100% positive response so she started making her art again - which was buying cheap bottles of brandy and writing letters all day. she was young and broke. i couldn't imagine drinking that sheet all day.
writing letters is an art.
don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
The incredible image is Catherine Deneuve from Peau d'ane. Kenichi from Kyoto sent me the image per my request. Be sure to click on the image to get a better view.
